Ryan Adams appears to be a shitty person who makes great music. John Lennon beat his wife. Jimmy Page kept a 14 year old girl locked in his closet. Bob Dylan hit his ex wife. Elvis started dating Priscilla when she was 14. Somehow we haven't "cancelled" them or their music.
I'm not condoning or apologizing for his behavior. But let's be honest, if the music is great, we forget the misdeeds of the people who make it. You like the Beatles? Then you like the music of an abuser. And it's ok if you do or don't. Let's just not fall off any high horses.
The music business is full of terrible men who made great art. If you want to cut all that music out of your life because they were terrible men, then go for it. But it's not so easy for some of us. And we're just now really grappling with this problem.

It's always a bit creepy when #QAnon posts Bible quotes to motivate the fascist death cult he created.
Yet more new #QAnon. A bunch of random memes, a post where he corrects a typo, and one where he pretends to be Trump. How anyone believes this is real astounds me.
Because we're in the dumbest timeline, #QAnon has now posted about #JussieSmollett, alleging that the incident was a false flag to get an anti-lynching bill passed, because when "the great awakening" happens, many Deep Staters would have met their death via hanging.

A new #QAnon post revived the moronic and debunked "Whidbey Island missile" conspiracy theory. It alleges that the deep state fired a missile from a submarine in Puget Sound at Air Force One, flying to Singapore. And it was seen by a webcam before being shot down by an F-16.
Why is it moronic? First, submarine launched anti-aircraft missiles generally are useless, which is why nobody uses them. Second, no sub-launched anti-aircraft missile could possible have the range to hit a plane thousands of miles away.

Third, nobody living on or near Whidbey Island reported seeing or hearing a missile, nor did any military or civilian radar report one. Fourth, the timeline of the "launch" and where AFO was don't match up at all. Fifth, we know exactly how the image of the "missile" was made.

I would like to remind everyone of my initial skepticism of the #JussieSmollett story, and that our default reaction to extraordinary, unbelievable stories should ALWAYS be skepticism.
I truly hope every well-meaning, outraged liberal who unthinkingly believed Jussie Smollett was the victim of a 2AM MAGA lynching in downtown Chicago on a freezing night thinks a bit harder before hitting share on their well-intentioned and ill-informed take.
Just to clarify this, I never believed the attack on Jussie Smollett itself was faked or a hoax. But I was skeptical of almost every other element of it. The randomness of the attack, the rope, the bleach, the "MAGA country" screaming. None of that felt right.
