Publicising Immorality (Zina, Rape, paedophilia) in reference to #ArewaMeToo movement.

A thread
The #MeToo movement started globally in October 2017. Our arewa people just discovered it now 😊. It came to being after a movie mogul named Harvey Weinstein was accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women
The phenomenon generated a wave, a lot of people were “named and shamed” including the current president of the US. That didn’t stopped him from being elected though. The only conviction that I know from the #MeToo movement is Bill Cosby. An 80 year old dude.
Germain Greer a feminist icon (google her up) called the me too movement as attention seeking. She said we should be concerned abt how to prevent rapes rather than “naming and shaming”. Yes she was a rape victim. Here’s her argument at the Oxford union
So my Arewa brothers and sisters who always copy everything western decided to lunch their me too movement after more than a year of inception. My question is, how does publicising rape and sexual abuse solve the problem?. A me too accused rapist is sitting in the Oval Office.
Now let me tell you the demerits of publicising sexual abuse.
1. It put ideas in people. Common sense won’t tell you a grown ass man will be attracted to a 6 year old. Now you tell him by publicising it, shedan will tell him to try it out. If he doesn’t know he won’t do it
2. It will put ideas into the head of people that rapist get away with rape. Since the me too only got 1 conviction as far as I know. So they do it
3. It make us expect worse of society. I heard a woman admitting on TV that she won’t let her husband shower her daughter. Nonsense!
4. It makes it look as if all men are potential rapist. It portrays the society to look like the bad guys have dominated the society which is not true. You won’t find 1 rapist in 1000 men.
So I asked again, what are the positives in publicising rape and sexual abuse. How does it prevent it. I know Twitter folks are gossip hungry. So you feed them with gossip and give them th chance that they will drag another person and feel good about themselves.
Maybe they will sympathise with you and tell you to be strong. But that’s it.

I’m telling you if they learn their brother wants to marry a rape victim, they will be the first to tell him “don’t, she’s was raped by someone!”
So if you are raped (God forbid) or you know a rape victim, talk to your family, if nothing happens, go to police, dagachi, hakimi or NGOs that are willing to help immediately. It easier to prove a rape case at the time it happens rather than 1 year later.
Don’t feed the hunger of this insecure gossip hungry people on Twitter that only wants to see bad in people. Because honestly majority of them are after the gist, they don’t care

May Allah keep on protecting our women from abusers and make the victims heal from the trauma.

END
PS: If you care about what Allah and the prophet said about publicising immorality, here her som raw narrations. I won’t comment or explain
I also suggested one of the ways that we can prevent sexual abuse, but alot of people didn’t like it. Well it’s here if you haven’t seen it.

PS again: I was tempted not to do this thread because I know how sensitive you guys are. But honestly, I tweet to share my thoughts, if I don’t share my thoughts I can’t sleep well. And everyone who knows me know I don’t joke with my sleep.

So here it is, damn the consequences!
You guys don’t understand the implication of this #ArewaMetoo, if it becomes a success which I hope it wont, your mother won’t trust you with your sister, your sister with trust you with your favourite niece and your wife won’t trust you with own daughter!
