On the issue of climate change, it's time we stopped referring to "skeptics" and call them what they are: traitors. These people are being paid handsomely to betray and endanger literally everyone, and we have to stop letting them hide behind rhetorical tricks.
Skeptics mean that people have legitimate questions about an unsettled issue. These are paid spokespeople who are gladly cashing checks while endangering their own families and billions of people.
They shouldn't get a platform to pretend to be legitimate skeptics. If they're on TV, if they're being interviewed, the only question they should get is, "How do you sleep at night?" or "Who signs your checks?"
You can’t go on TV and advocate in commercials without a disclaimer that you’re a paid spokesperson, climate deniers should be no different. Get their billionaire funders and energy company benefactors up on the screen.
