A City Slam: When has one city come close to winning all 4 major sports around one year?
Boston had a shot this year (@RedSox @Patriots), but while the @NHLBruins are improving, @celtics are collapsing...
I can think of two other years when cities were close:
1/
2/ Philly 1980-81. @Phillies beat @Royals, @eagles lost to @Raiders, @NHLFlyers lost to @NYIslanders, @sixers lost to @Lakers
3/ Boston 1986: @Patriots lose to @ChicagoBears, @celtics beat Rockets, @Mets beat @RedSox... and I had misremembered that it was 2 years later, @bruins lose to @EdmontonOilers. Does that count?

Some quick Michael Cohen take-aways:
1. The committee repeatedly got Cohen to name Trump Org CFO Allen Weisselberg as a co-conspirator in a long list of crimes: Campaign finance felonies, tax fraud, insurance fraud, more fraud. Big deal: They will subpoena him. /1/
Weisselberg knows a lot about Trump's criminal role - perhaps in money laundering. Is Weisselberg cooperating with Mueller? His immunity deal may be limited. @AOC and @RoKhanna did great work focusing on Weisselberg, who will be subpoenaed and may take the 5th. /2/
2. Campaign finance: The checks w/Trump's signature are unmistakable. No doubt there is probable cause sufficient for indicting a sitting president. It's SDNY's domain, not Mueller's. Let's be clear: A sitting president can be indicted. It's time. /3/ slate.com/news-and-polit…

I posted this thread last night on Cohen's prepared remarks. They are damaging, but need detail and corroboration today. 1/
2/ Some big picture points.
Trump has submitted answers to Mueller, and if he lied, that's felony false statement. On Roger Stone/Wikileaks, Cohen's testimony conflicts w/ Trump's statements, I indicated last night. But the problem is corroboration.
3/ Just now: CNN interview w/ Congressman Connolly: Russia conspiracy questions are now fair game, because Cohen opened that door deliberately in his prepared remarks.

There were at least a half-dozen times between the Iowa Caucus in
January 2016 and the end of June when he would ask me “How’s it going
in Russia?”...

Metis gaslighting disabled people calling out eugenics ideas presented at Woodhull last year is an issue - one they’d do better to address than just blocking those of us harmed.
