My attention has been drawn to the fact that Lifeless FC has avoided Relegation for now.

First, my heart goes out to all those who sustained various injuries in this bloodied encounter

We condemn the APC led govt for neutralising all the goals that GEJ scored for our democracy
I'm seriously aggrieved about all the ugly incidents that occured in that El Classico and also reject the outcome

But our Top Atikulate FC Striker has asked us to remain calm and peaceful

That he will seek a VAR review of all the infringements and offside goals scored
While our great club embarks on this VAR review and everything necessary towards restoring our lead,

I urge all our fans not to despair but continue to stand for our club and democracy

For me, I have renewed my stay at this club and will continue to play my best this season.

Yesterday was a very sad day for our democracy

Relegation bound Lifeless FC Manager ordered his boys to launch a vicious tackle on the Chief Justice of Nigeria

And they scored the biggest own goal in the history of democracy. THREAD!

The Game of football is governed by FIFA rules

While the game of politics In every democracy is governed by the constitution and other laws of the land
The Nigerian Constitution spells out the rules for all players in a democracy.

It guarantees the Rule of law, separation of powers, and independence of 3 arms of govt viz; Executive, Legislature, Judiciary

It also prescribes procedures for appointments and removals for same

My attention has just been drawn to the fact that APC's Oyetola is now being sworn in as Governor.

I congratulate him for his emergence as INTERIM Governor

He is to play that wing temporarily until the main Striker, Adeleke, comes to take his rightful position #OsunInterimGov
I was in Osun state during the Guber elections.

Adeleke clearly secured highest number of votes collated in 30 LGAs but the computation was bungled in order to pave way for a Re Run.

I have no doubt whatsoever that the mandate will be retrieved in court. #OsunInterimGov
We have done a forensic examination of all our agent copies of Forms EC8A results sheets across all the polling units in #OsunDecides

Adeleke was shortchanged by over 4,000 votes while Oyetola was declared winner with about 500 votes margin.

The case is clear. #OsunInterimGov

Nobody with the benefit of proper legal training will ever argue that Rule of Law is subject to National Security.

It's akin to arguing that there are circumstances under which players can DISREGARD the decision of Refrees/VAR

There is no debate here. None.
The truth is that Buhari is still stuck in his military past.

We need to do him a favour by always reminding him that we are now in a democracy.

We need to get him a Secondary school Government text book, so he can read about "Rule of law" as expounded by AV Dicey.

The Higher Education Loans Board Act (1995) which forms HELB as we now it today, replaced the repealed Higher Education Loans Fund Act. (CAP 213)
Long thread alert.
The HELB Act is a lot more detailed than its predecessor and lays out the duties of the loanee and the employer. The Act and the HELB website make it very clear that the declaration signed by the loanee is a contract. (from site)
Now let’s start with the fact that most undergrad loan applicants in the 18-24yr old age range just seeking a means to study are woefully unprepared to commit to contracts. Wish I had access to an application form to review but have never seen one. Few read the fine print.

 My ex was in gamedev first. His studio closed while I was pregnant and working for myself in 2007. That was fun.

He was smart enough to get out of games, though. I was suckered in.

2) Pastor delivered a beautiful sermon, one of my favorites ever. He led us in prayer. "God you are all that is, was, and forever shall be- Help us not to fear"
The sermon was then based on the "last days", and the fears that people have when it feels like the world is ending.
3) He said that people tell him, "These are the signs of the times, we are living in the last days" He said, "I hear this more and more...and I tell them 'ALL the days are the end days, because when I go to bed at night, a day has ended.'" They do not seem satisfied with that...

(1) Here's a story that needs some investigative time put into it, if anyone's interested. Has everything: Osama bin Laden, GITMO, Mennonites, "pacifism," the Taliban, disaster tourism, US-Pakistan relations, family dynamics, sexual assault charges, & possible Stockholm Syndrome.
(2) When Canadian Joshua Boyle and his American (second) wife Caitlin Coleman & 3 children were freed from their Taliban-linked captors and returned to Canada in October 2017, my spidey senses about him were activated.
(3) Caitlin Coleman's parents were ofc relieved beyond belief that the 5 were free, safe and able to start rebuilding their lives in North America BUT they expressed anger that Joshua Boyle had taken a pregnant Caitlin into Afghanistan in the first place.

I am 34. I have been fighting to get my children returned back from Child and Family Services in Winnipeg for 10 years.
We stayed eating salt and vinegar packages. That is all we found in the room. And water.
In 2009 I walked Winnipeg to Ottawa w/ my aunt Elaine, sister Melissa & Elders Bev Jones and Melba Sanoffsky 4 my kids & to raise awareness.
