I have registered a formal complaint against Mr. Vairamuthu with the National Council for Women. As of now this is the only legal route that I have.
I am looking forward to the NCW @Manekagandhibjp in helping me take this complaint to a logical conclusion.

@Manekagandhibjp @PMOIndia In the meanwhile the Ban on my work in the Tamilnadu film industry continues. I had sent in a letter to Sri @VishalKOfficial several months ago. Despite his best intentions for which I am grateful, the Council apparently cannot intervene in the workings of the dubbing union.
The Dubbing Union headed by President Mr Radha Ravi will be fighting me in court in the coming weeks.
In addition I have faced Mr Radha Ravi and team’s constant character assassinations, insult and abuse that everyone has been watching.

For all the support on my timeline today, I am super grateful.
In 2006 the dubbing union by laws were amended by Mr Radha Ravi. Only 100/- for the application form and 250/- is required for the ‘admission fee’. Annual subscription is 120/- only. I joined in 2006 and paid 15,000/
I had never seen the ‘By Laws’ book until I got down to the legalities of it. One can become a Lifetime Member and never oay subscription fee if one pays 2500/- + 500/-
Technically that money was covered in the initial 15,000/- I paid.
Add to that the 10% from all my Dubbing income since 2006 - I have been the VO in over 75 films. Do the math.
Judge Vasuki maam was only appointed to check if ‘the elections were conducted in a fair manner’. She can’t appoint or remove any member.

Apparently I have to pay 1.5 Lakhs, send an apology letter and THEN the dubbing Union will reinstate me and let me work in Tamilnadu in Tamil films.
The Union has made lakhs from my Income since 2006. And I have to pay 1.5 lakhs again for my right to work.
With all due respect very big actors and directors are ‘Lifetime Members’ of the Dubbing Union after dubbing perhaps one film or two on a friendly basis. I have been working since 2006 and I have to become a ‘New Member’ :)
And I wonder why exactly I m being forced to *apologise* to the Dubbing Union and to Mr Radha Ravi?
The Dubbing Union By Law says 2,500/- is the fee to become a new member. What is this random 1.5 Lakh fee + apology?

It is very, very tough for women to remember accounts of when they were touched inappropriately; a ‘harmless’ hug that looks OK but makes them alone cringe.
I was 8, maybe 9. I was sleeping. My mom was supervising a recording session for her documentary. Felt a man in priestly robes feel up my privates and I woke up. Told her ‘that uncle is bad’. This was in the studio called Santhome Communications that still exists.
Maybe I was 10/11, December Music Festival, ‘respectable mama’ whose name I dont remember kept pinching my thigh throughout a concert.
I heard more gross stories of Sabha secretaries.
In retrospect, a lot of children weren’t safe around some adults.

Hi @Uber_Support , I had the worst experience today morning. Was Uber pooling with a woman who was hostile from the very start. She started yelling at the driver saying she’s paying the “most” & still she’s getting dropped last. When I tried to intervene I was verbally abused.
Reasoning with her was futile. She called me all sorts of names & tried to provoke me when I went completely quiet. Was reading something on my mobile & refused to give a reaction even though she went on her abusive rant calling me the worst abuses that I’m too ashamed to mention
Then she banged the hand rest on my bag kept b/w us & on my hand. And asked me to remove my “dirty things” from her. I still didn’t react. Picked the bag and put it beside the driver’s seat. I guess that must have pushed her to the edge.

STATEMENT IN RESPONSE TO CORRUPTION ALLEGATIONS
I have now been informed by the SAPS that a criminal complaint has been laid against me by the federal leadership of the Democratic Alliance pertaining to an alleged solicitation of a bribe from a Mr Anthony Faul in January 2013.
My lawyers and I were afforded an opportunity to respond to this new allegation by the Party but given that emails had to be collected checked we were unable to do so within the very short time permitted.
The DA then rushed off to the police with the allegation and immediately thereafter went on a concerted campaign of distributing the message to all and sundry that I am corrupt.
