So, 'Tommy Robinson' gone & mentioned me in his latest YouTube video, following a legal letter being delivered to his house - he's being sued for defamation.

Let's make a few things very, very clear...
1. The letter was most certainly delivered to the right house.

Neither the law firm involved, or the individuals from Resisting Hate that accompanied @DickCoughlan today take chances in this regard.
2. The letter was delivered by a single individual, @DickCoughlan, filmed at a distance, who was under strict instructions to remain courteous and professional at all times in carrying out his duties.

Steps were taken to obscure any identifying information about the address.

Ok, I know you're all sick and tired of me going on about 'Tommy Robinson’. Hell, I'm sick of the angry toad. However, I have to say something, and hope it gets heard. So, listen up: He's not going away any time soon, unless we come together in a big way. /1
While being banned from Facebook & Instagram has reduced his reach, he's still got a lot of fans. Additionally, he's now placed to swing back towards the white nationalism he's flirted with for years, now that he doesn't need to worry about bannings. /2
'Tommy’ has deep connections to the Identitarian movement - he's met with leading figures in Europe and both recent collaborators Lauren Southern and Lucy Brown are significantly aligned with the movement. He's been taking cues from them for a while. /3

I understand why the letter's been written. It's very well-intentioned for the most part. But expecting good people to sign something which effectively says "I am guilty" when they're not guilty; and "we are guilty" when we're not guilty, is just plain wrong.
All this goes to the very heart of an increasingly, alarmingly inept response by the Labour Party to this most important, most sensitive of issues. This is a party which is now riven with division, with finger pointing, with paranoia... and with leaks too.

Oh, sweet merciful Jesus. This is what happens when people who have bought into an alternate reality are confronted with the truth. Nothing is happening on "Q's plan" because Q is a fraud, the whole thing is a fantasy. "The plan" will never happen because it's fake.
But the people who have bought into "The Plan"'s existence and the conspiracy theories behind it are more than invested. They have shifted their whole worldview out of alignment with actual factual reality.

So they can't register the truth. Literally cannot acknowledge it.
So when nothing happens, day after day and month after month, every date that is supposed to be when the trap is sprung and the plan is put into action and the evil satanic babykillers rounded up passes and nothing happens... they don't conclude they were mistaken or misled.

2. These threads draw upon my reading and training as an American historian, but they also draw on my life history as someone who grew up middle-class in a small town in what is now reddest central Pennsylvania.

I just watched Katie Hopkins' new documentary about "genocide" of white people in South Africa, produced by Ezra Levant's Rebel Media. As far as delusional racist agitprop goes, it was completely unwatchable. A couple of thoughts... #plaasmoorde #cdnpoli
We've been waiting 8 months for this film's release. Since it is basically a mashup of her previously released videos, this delay makes absolutely no sense. What has she been doing??

#Plaasmoorde is completely unwatchable. It's basically a stream-of-consciousness veering between highly exploitative accounts of violent crime, dubious witnesses speculating about conspiracy theories. It's even worse than #Farmlands!
