So, 'Tommy Robinson' gone & mentioned me in his latest YouTube video, following a legal letter being delivered to his house - he's being sued for defamation.

Let's make a few things very, very clear...

1. The letter was most certainly delivered to the right house.

Neither the law firm involved, or the individuals from Resisting Hate that accompanied @DickCoughlan today take chances in this regard.

2. The letter was delivered by a single individual, @DickCoughlan, filmed at a distance, who was under strict instructions to remain courteous and professional at all times in carrying out his duties.

Steps were taken to obscure any identifying information about the address.

3. As for my involvement? I knew the action was coming - I helped crowdfund for it.

I've also written about the intimidatory tactics practiced by 'Tommy' at length. I make no bones about it.

I did not, however, attend - my role was in tweeting out word of what was coming.

1a. Furthermore, another copy was posted to his address. There was no margin of error here.

4. If people consider the publicizing of a legal letter being delivered to be 'threatening', or 'putting people at risk', then they may want to pause for thought the next time 'Tommy' announces he will be doorstepping someone - usually done at night, and timed to disorient.

5. Finally, if you're keen on threatening me, or @DickCoughlan, for goodness sake, don't be stupid. By all means, have a go - we have thick skins - but don't do anything stupid.

There are much more important things in this life to fight for than 'Tommy'. He ain't worth it.
