Basically WGA’s analysis is that Wall Street came in, bought up stakes in the talent agencies, and decided that they could make agents more profitable if they became middlemen for their clients instead of fiduciaries. wga.org/members/member…
Take away the bargaining power of the help, and voila: while business booms, wages sag.
