Stirred this AM by the urging in Scripture to “remind” God of what He said. Tirelessly even. Example: To the watchmen on the wall in Is.62:6-7, “There is no rest for you who remind the Lord. Do not give him rest until he establishes and makes Jerusalem the praise of the earth.”->
I love that God loves to be reminded of what He promised & not because He ever forgets but so WE will never forget. So our faith will stay alive and our eyes on the sacred pages will then lift to the heavens & our lips boldly confess, “God, You said...” What glorious privilege!->
Do it! Get in those pages. They are full of promises. If you don’t know exactly where to begin, start with Eph 1 or Romans 8. As you read it, say it back to Him. “Lord, You say here that...” In this way your Bible reading becomes dialogue. He speaks through His Word. Speak back!
“Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Can affliction or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?... NO, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” Say it aloud. Feel the life. That’s you & your God.Bless you today.
