It’s possible to believe both:

1. @IlhanMN shouldn’t use language that evokes dual loyalty, which has roots in anti-Semitism

2. @IlhanMN shouldn’t be singled out for rebuke by the House when the racism, sexism, homophobia and deplorable conduct of other members is ignored
This is a clarification of an earlier tweet which obscured @IlhanMN’s actual quote: “I should not be expected to have allegiance/pledge support to a foreign country in order to serve my country in Congress.”

He relies on the Robb-Silverman to absolve himself

But that report specifically did not examine how Fleischer presented the intel to the public

Fleischer surely knows this. He just doesn't care.
I could expand on this in great detail but I don't think too many people are still interested. If I'm wrong let me know.
OK, I'll do it a bit more.

Yes, the intel was flawed.

But @AriFleischer, Bush and Cheney went FAR BEYOND WHAT THE INTEL SAID to make the case for war.

As a result, many people died.

1. Devin Nunes' lawsuit is the perfect encapsulation of how fucked up things are in the USA right now.

Nunes is literally suing a fictional cow.

His lawyer also represents a guy who believes NASA is operating a child slave camp on Mars.

They can afford it.

Trump just gutted basic borrower protections imposed by Obama. The change is worth $7 billion annually to payday lenders

But you can't afford it so you take out another loan.

60% of payday loans are part of a sequence of 7 or more consecutive loans.

Obama admin proposed a couple of simple changes. Lenders had to check to see if borrowers could plausibly pay back the loans. (Something all traditional banks do.) And no more than 3 consecutive loans.

Despicable. As if @lsarsour 's anti-Semitism problem is only her ties to Farrakhan. She espouses anti-Semitism ON HER OWN. @Marissa_Jae left out an important detail. This is spin, not news. Reporters need to report, not filter.
I might have cut the Post some slack if they had been following the story as it unfolded, but they had been silent on the growing scandal til now. Why did it take two weeks to mention Alyssa Milano's stand against the movements anti-Semitism?
Given how quickly (and misleadingly) the Post jumped to defend Sarsour after she called for jihad against the White House, I have to believe that there was an editorial decision to soft-pedal Sarsour's record.

It is possible to believe both that the IDF uses lethal force WAY too readily and that this may be a human rights violation/war crime AND ALSO to recognize that Hamas is evil and engineers the deaths of the people for whom it falsely claims to care.
Like take a child used as a human shield. Hamas does that! They use children and thrust them into extremely dangerous/illegal situations!

Also... Maybe the IDF should avoiding firing live rounds at children!
This seems really simple to me and I'm not sure why so many people seem to have this idea that either Israel is heroic and sinless or Hamas is heroic and sinless.
