I'm hoping this will be instructive for @IlhanMN
I believe that there should be two states between the river and the sea in Palestine - one Jewish and one Palestinian.
I believe the Jewish people have the same right to self-determination as any other national/ethnic group. I believe the same of the Palestinian people.
While I believe there is blame to be apportioned on both sides of the conflict, the continued Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories risks turning Israel into an apartheid state
I'm not a fan of Benjamin Netanyahu and I believe that he is doing enormous damage to Israeli democracy
I believe that Israel's polices vis-a-vis the Palestinians, in particular the construction of settlements but also the treatment of Palestinians under occupation, has undermined the chances for lasting peace between Israelis and Palestinians. Pointing this out is not anti-Semitic
I believe Palestinian rejectionism, in particular the use of political violence (specifically terrorism) has undermined the chances for lasting peace between Israelis and Palestinians
I believe that in the US Congress there is one-sided support for Israel and that it, like any other country, should be criticized when they act in ways that are counter to US interests or violate international law, particularly human rights law
I believe that the United States should -- for reasons of history, culture, and national security -- continue to be a close ally of Israel. I also believe that being a close ally of Israel does not preclude criticism of Israel or support for a Palestinian state
I believe that criticism of Israel's actions is not fundamentally anti-Semitic, just as criticism of China is not evidence of anti-Chinese animus. However, I believe that one-sided and disproportionate criticism of Israel is, in some cases, evidence of anti-Semitism
I believe that US policymakers, members of Congress and private citizens should be able to criticize actions by the Israeli government, with which they disagree, without being accused of anti-Semitism.
I believe that American Jews should be able to support Israel without being attacked for doing so or have their allegiance to America criticized.
See @IlhanMN : it really isn't that hard to talk about Israel, even criticize Israel, without using anti-Semitic language or tropes
