Hansen tried to recruit a current DIA case officer into stealing classified information. The officer reported Hansen & then served as a confidential source for the FBI to sting Hansen.
He took the documents & was planning to take them to China for delivery. He didn't make it because he was arrested.
Plead guilty to one count with an agreed upon sentence of 15 years in federal prison for espionage.

Yep we are getting close. Only question is if anyone at SDNY got busted trying to not find reasons to indict in this case. They got Craig's law firm to confirm that he was responsible for it, then provided the evidence to avoid prosecution against the firm. #ButNothingsHappening
After Skaaden Arps agreeded that illegal conduct occurred at their firm in this case, it destroyed attorney client privilege for Craig's clients in this case: Ukraine, Podesta Group, Mercury LLC, & others.
Here is my thread from when Skaaden Arps said thy were guilty of criminal actions in failing to register for FARA but that Craig is the one who committed all the crimes & hid it from his partners.

Well, I guess Oleg Deripaska was expecting former Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr to keep him apprised on US legal actions against him through his contractor former MI6 agent Chris Steele.

Completely by surprise! Sucks when your conspirators get demoted/can't help.
So if Deripaska is denying that the Kremlin putting him up to suing the US Treasury Dept. over his sanctions, that is probably good confirmation that he was following orders from his pal Putin. cnbc.com/2019/03/18/put…
I guess he also lost his friends at FINCEN but we have less certainty over who those individuals were...

Resistors in FINCEN were colluding with the Russians in 2016 setting up back door channels for communications.

@mnrube17 The bank is to pay a $195M penalty to defer prosecution while they cooperate! Which means they flipped! Looks like involve branches in LA & throughout the US, Switzerland, London & Cayman Islands. The Cayman's branch was shut in 2014 & lead to this case. That's how complex...
@mnrube17 Looks like the tax evasion issues were from at least 2002-2012. Very likely the prosecutions have been helped by the exposure of the #PanamaPapers & #ParadisePapers But prosecutions are now moving forward around the nation.

Ron Rockwell Hansen, 58, a resident of Syracuse, Utah, retired from the US army as a Warrant Officer with a background in signals Intelligence & Human Intelligence. He speaks fluent Mandarin-Chinese & Russian.
DIA hired Hansen as a civilian intelligence case officer in 2006.
Hansen held a Top Secret clearance for many years & signed several non-disclosure during his tenure.

Hansen admitted in his plea, in 2014, agents of a Chinese Intelligence service targeted Hansen for recruitment & he began meeting with them regularly in China.

Ron Rockwell Hansen, 59, of Syracuse, Utah, entered his guilty plea before U.S. District Court Judge Dee Benson in Salt Lake City. The plea agreement includes a stipulated sentence of 180 months, subject to approval of the Court. Sentencing is set for Sept. 24, 2019, at 2 p.m.

ATLANTA - Sudhakar Reddy Bonthu, a former manager at Equifax, pleaded guilty today to a charge of insider trading based on his purchases of options ahead of Equifax’s public announcement of its data breach.
