Well, I guess Oleg Deripaska was expecting former Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr to keep him apprised on US legal actions against him through his contractor former MI6 agent Chris Steele.

Completely by surprise! Sucks when your conspirators get demoted/can't help.
So if Deripaska is denying that the Kremlin putting him up to suing the US Treasury Dept. over his sanctions, that is probably good confirmation that he was following orders from his pal Putin. cnbc.com/2019/03/18/put…
I guess he also lost his friends at FINCEN but we have less certainty over who those individuals were...

Resistors in FINCEN were colluding with the Russians in 2016 setting up back door channels for communications.
It also seems the folks at FINCEN tried to block the designation of Oleg Deripaska under the Magnitski act. I'll bet they were working with a variety of folks to make sure the Swampiest creatures didn't get investigated or sanctioned under FINCEN! threadreaderapp.com/thread/1075833…
