Really disturbing interview by @jaketapper with @RashidaTlaib. Tlaib spent the entire interview portraying people calling out antisemitism from Rep Omar and herself as motivated by Islamophobia, with very little pushback from Tapper.

I get it. Antisemites don’t like criticism of antisemitism. That’s no excuse for journalists to let them get away with portraying it as central to Muslim identity and for those calling it out as Islamaphobic.

And I’ve spent plenty of time applauding Tapper and giving him credit, but this was a very poor showing. And seemingly part of a pattern for people on that network on this issue (esp beyond Twitter). It’s been either silence or abetting from far too many.
