People, please know that there's something called "Opening the Overton Window".

Basically if a politician wants to program a people into accepting an idea, they send a range of people to broach the idea.

They send the most dispensable or hated pawns first DELIBERATELY.
They send people in increasing ranges of likeability.

They START with someone who's seen as annoying first. Reason? They need the opposition to burn energy AND spread the topic even wider and make it a normal part of everyday discussion..

They sacrifice the Pawn. A.D.
Next step is to have a more likeable range of people pushing the convo by asking people what they have against it..

This new set will pretend to be pro-people and open to hearing out the public.

Result? The Idea is discussed even more.
Look, the Human Mind can normalise and accept anything if it's exposed to it CONSTANTLY enough.

If this process is repeated efficiently, eventually the people will accept the Idea simply because It is no longer strange to them.

You see how this works?
The first step in defense is to nullify the emotionally disruptive pawns they send first to broach the topic.

If there's anyone you scream at, it's the 2nd line of attack who wear the mask of Innocence..

Ignore AD.
The sly sociable person acting neutral? That's who you attack.
Echo-Chambers were given a bad name deliberately by people who weaponise approaches like this.

Sometimes you actually have to close the door to certain people and topics to protect you and yours..
