When we think of Socialism in America, the names Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez come to mind. We have isolated socialism to them because they are the ones who have been bold enough to step out of the shadows with their honest intentions.
But THEY are not the birthers of Socialism in America. Look at the #demos platform for the past 30-40 years. What they have ran on for YEARS has been a socialist platform disguised as liberal policy. The democrat party died with JFK and has been hijacked by socialist extremists.
Their platform is 100% been the vehicle to move the overton window US Culture toward full Socialism- Welfare program expansion, medi-caid expansion, abortion expansion, open borders, socialized medicine (Hillary Care > ObamaCare), anti-2nd amendment, ....
.... huge government regulations controlling industry/development, & policy that eliminates the middle class & set up the haves vs the have-nots.
If you look at ANY and EVERY platform position of the #Demos for the past 40 years they are ALL Socialist driven policies.
