I was unfortunate enough to be standing outside the Old Senate Chamber watching VP Joe Biden as he swore Heidi Heitkamp in, and said to her: "Spread your legs, you're going to be frisked."

Everyone watching just looked at each other, like, jfc, what is with this guy
We had a reporter following every woman being sworn in that year (2012). I was with @ewarren, who was just behind @HeidiHeitkamp, who was being trailed by @eliotnelson. It was beyond the normal Biden stuff, but he had some bizarre explanation for the joke huffingtonpost.com/2013/01/03/hei…
This was her swearing in to the Senate! One of the most important days of her life! And this is how he treats her. Was just unreal.

Taxing the super rich at 70 or 80 percent is good in itself, because those people have too much money and are screwing up the world with it. But you don't need it to fund an agenda.

This also means @Ocasio2018 will have roughly 8 (!) hours per day more than her colleagues to spend on legislation, at hearings, reading, writing, doing press, meeting with constituents, etc. Her colleagues schedule is more like the following: /1
Morning: breakfast PAC fundraiser
Mid-morning: Call time (dialing rich people for $)
Mid-day: Office check in, lobbyist meetings
Afternoon: Call time, meetings with lobbyists
Evening: PAC fundraiser

In between are votes and hearings. The former you go to, the latter you skip.

Not what I was hoping for but it looks like some more interesting breadcrumbs. More GRU hacking incidents & targets, many related to Olympic doping test facilities & the chemical weapons labs testing samples from UK & Syria. justice.gov/opa/documents-…
Of biggest interest to me is the hacking of Westinghouse Electric, nuclear fuel supplier to Ukraine & other countries. The prosecutors were unwilling to discuss anything not spelled out in the indictment, which means not much. Two main priorities seem likely for the Russians.
Westinghouse was expanding Ukrainian nuclear power capacity. So 1 priority could have been to keep Ukraine dependent on Russian oil & natural gas to allow the Russians to exert leverage over them. So disrupting that relationship or operation may have been a Russian focus.

Joe Biden publicly condemning misconduct, considering his documented history of it, makes me sick to my stomach.
Imagine being one of the women or children former VP Joe Biden groped, sniffed, or fondled, then watching him insincerely condemn aggressive predation in public.

I’m sure the reason his victims still remain silent is because of power and unspoken intimidation.
