6/ ... started helping the humans get away from the water. I realized that being an elf meant the orcas shouldn't attack me, so I started making my way towards the 2 elves. By this time other elves had appeared near the first 2, and some armed humans were approaching nearby...

7/ ... ready for a fight. Then a new, regal elf appeared, dressed in black velvet robes and a golden tiara, and all the other elves showed deference to her. And it was... Gillian Anderson @GillianA! With elf ears! She urged the 2 angry elves to stop the madness, but they had ...

8/ ... lost themselves to the bloodlust. So GillianElf transformed into a ball of light which forked into two beams which struck the two elves: she had transferred her life force and memories to the two of them, sacrificing herself to heal them of their rage and break the ...

9/ ... spell that was preventing the elves from doing the transfer. Elves and humans alike all became sorrowful over her loss, and then the elves just walked away. I watched them leave, unsure what to do since I'd opposed them... and then I woke up. That was an amazing dream! ...

10/ Morning earworm: and as I awoke, I realized the theme music from Conan the Barbarian was playing in my head. I give you: Anvil of Crom!

And that's how I learned that @GillianA is a secret elf queen, but don't tell anyone, you know how humans can be.

13/ ... and we were both uneasy because the room was actually under the arena where the 2016 Republican National Convention was being held; we could hear people cheering for Trump upstairs. Then Darkness stepped out of the mirror, just like in the film. He smiled at us and...

14/ ... announced "He is here!" while pointing at the fireplace. That's when Laibach's "Leben heißt leben" started playing in the background, and Reince Priebus stepped out of the fireplace. He stood there silently staring at us with that stupid smile...

15/ ... of his while Darkness laughed, and I noticed the song's lyrics had changed from "Leben heisst Leben!" to "Priebus! Reince Priebus!" Lilly turned to me with a WTF look on her face and asked me "what does it mean?" I said I didn't know and that I'd have to check...

16/ ... MetaFilter metafilter.com (they didin't know either.) Then I woke up laughing. And ever since, whenever I hear Priebus's name, "Leben heißt leben" (the one in #14) starts playing in my head.

19/ ...couldn't keep up. At the exit they were met by an elfin jester who led them off outside. I got outside and discovered we were on one side of a beautiful canyon with lots of trees on either side (again reminiscent of Skyrim). My friends and the elf jester had turned into...

20/ ... zigzagging beams of energy and were teleporting across. Once they rematerialized on the other side they started putting on a performance, and it was clear I wouldn't be able to join them, so I decided to make the most of it and sat down to watch and enjoy the show...

21/ ... Then I woke up with my cat cuddled up against me and music playing in my head. I realized the music was a mashup of Kate Bush's @KateBushMusic "Running Up That Hill" ...

22/ ... and parts of the track "Sea Of Corpses" from the soundtrack of the game Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. Weird dream, weird musical choice. In conclusion: dreams are weird, man.
