Barr: Mueller heeft niet ontdekt dat de Trump-campagne of iemand die ermee te maken had samenspande of iets afstemde met de Russische regering in pogingen de verkiezingen te beïnvloeden, ook al boden meerdere aan Rusland gelieerde individuen aan om de Trump-campagne te helpen.
Dit is opmerkelijk. Barr: Mueller beantwoordt de vraag niet of Trump rechtsgang heeft belemmerd, maar inventariseert bewijs vóór en tegen. Geen misdrijf bewezen, ook niet vrijgepleit. Barr en onderminister Rosenstein hebben vervolgens besloten dat er geen bewijs voor misdrijf is.

1/ Moments ago, Attorney General Barr released a letter in which he summarized what he called the "principal conclusions" from the Mueller report. Here is the letter, which is worth reading: judiciary.house.gov/sites/democrat…
2/ The letter raises many questions and is *not* the full report. But it does tell us many things that are very important. First, it sets forth the sheer amount of work that went into the Mueller investigation. He issued 2,800 subpoenas and interviewed 500 witnesses.
