Amazon just terminated my Associates account and said it will not pay me any outstanding fees it owes me. The reason is "because the content [on @tinynibbes] promotes unsuitable activity." This affects ALL my books and book links everywhere, over a decade of linking.

I'm really upset, that @ was me misspelling @tinynibbles. I've done business with Associates across all my websites since 2002. This is significant monthly income for me to lose as an author.

Seriously, the Associates partnership was how I could survive on my books (my old publisher screwed me out of my ebook and audio royalties going back almost 20 years) and be an indie publisher of my own work.

Because I write about sex, I can't use:

PayPal/Square
MailChimp
Wordpress dot org
Google / Facebook ads
Most web hosts
Apple/Play

I feel really dumb for being excited that I canceled my Netflix and stuck with Amazon Prime out of brand loyalty.

I'm just sitting here in shock. I was the first female podcaster but Apple censored me. I was one of the earliest sex bloggers. The SF Chronicle's first sex columnist. Banned by Libya for having the words "sex positive" on my website...

My Google Tech Talk on sex, privacy, and search has almost two and a half million views. I went on Oprah because she liked my book on women and porn, and we talked about ... porn. I just don't understand how we got to Amazon's level of sex censorship.

I just don't understand how I can be killing myself to engender understanding about human sexuality while literally invited to participate at the forefront of everything shaping the internet, and find myself utterly excised from it.

Just want the well-meaning folks suggesting I check out Bitcoin to know that I was ejected from Coinbase for no reason at the same time they kicked other people in sex businesses off the service (including erotic comic artists). Add it to the list of non-options.
