Erectile dysfunction (impotence) is the inability to get and keep an erection firm enough for sexual intercourse. 20% of men will have Erectile dysfunction at one point in time in their lifetime.
ED can cause stress, affect your self-confidence and contribute to relationship problems. Occasional ED are usually normal and may not need treatment.

Problems getting or keeping an erection can also be a sign of an underlying health condition that needs treatment.
Symptoms of Erectile dysfunction

- Too soft
- Too brief
- inability to achieve it
- reduced sexual desire.

Male sexual arousal is a complex process that involves the brain, hormones, emotions, nerves, muscles and blood vessels.
Erectile dysfunction can result from a problem with any of these. Likewise, stress and mental health concerns can cause or worsen erectile dysfunction.

Physical causes of ED

Heart disease, Clogged blood vessels, High cholesterol, High blood pressure, Diabetes, Obesity..
Certain prescription medications, Tobacco use, Alcoholism and other forms of substance abuse, Sleep disorders, Surgeries or injuries that affect the pelvic area or spinal cord.

Psychological causes such as - Depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues..
Complications -

An unsatisfactory sex life
Stress or anxiety
Embarrassment or low self-esteem
Relationship problems
Inability to get your partner pregnant
Prevention -

Make healthy lifestyle choices and manage existing health conditions..

Regular checkups

Stop smoking, limit or avoid alcohol, and don't use illegal drugs.

Exercise regularly.

Reduce stress.

Get help for anxiety, depression or other mental health concerns.
Be careful with Agbo, Agunmu and other native aphrodisiacs. There is little high-quality clinical evidence for the efficacy or long-term safety of using them.

Get examined by the doctor and have the proper tests done to ascertain the cause..
