Further, Rs 20,000 crore has been settled from the balance IGST available with the Centre on provisional basis in the ratio of 50:50 between Centre and States
Total number of GSTR 3B Returns filed for the month of February up to 31st March, 2019 is 75.95 lakh.
Government has settled ₹ 17,261 crore to CGST and ₹ 13,689 crore to SGST from IGST as regular settlement.
Total gross GST revenue collected in March, 2019 is
₹ 1,06,577 crore of which CGST is ₹ 20,353 crore, SGST is ₹ 27,520 crore, IGST is ₹ 50,418 crore (including ₹ 23,521 crore collected on imports) and Cess is ₹ 8,286 crore (including ₹ 891 crore collected on imports).
GST Revenue collection for March, 2019 crossed One lakh crore and recorded highest collection in the FY 2018-19

The progress of the APA scheme strengthens the Government’s resolve of fostering a non-adversarial tax regime. The Indian APA programme has been appreciated nationally and internationally for being able to address complex transfer pricing issues in a fair and transparent manner.

The $310 million loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), has a 5-year grace period, and a final maturity of 25 years.
The meters are expected to provide consumers with better access to data which will encourage them to reduce their electricity consumption. To begin with, the project will finance smart metering for around 350,000 consumers in the capital city of Ranchi.
The Project will also support smart meters, with two-way communication and backend IT infrastructure, deployed in select urban towns. These meters will not only reduce technical and commercial losses, but also improve peak load management.

For the journalists etc. attempting to understand what’s going on behind the scenes at large social media companies wrt censorship, there are a few conceptual tools you must equip before making statements in either support or suspicion...
Recently I’ve seen debate concerning the degree to which the content of popular (and polarizing) social media users gets censored by platforms like YouTube, Twitter, etc.

Most of these approaches analyze the category of first-order signals to which the public has access...
Namely: recommendations, bans, warnings, demonitization, etc.

But this is a fool’s errand.

You will never get to the heart of what’s either happening, or not happening, by analyzing these data points.

Why not, you ask?

Well the superficial answer is plausible deniability...

Since late 80s issue of corruption has been discussed in every living room, in trains amongst co passengers, in schools,colleges, as a fav topic of debate, discussion; Is Corruption a bigger menace than terrorism or Is corruption making the country hollow!
We discussed every form of corruption endlessly, quoting examples, as if it was all pervading ; as to how money is being hoarded under beds, almirahs, how traders are avoiding sales tax, how inter state borders where excise people collect taxes are a big source of corruption.
How hardly 2% population is paying taxes and rest generating black money, how builders are minting money and flouting rules, diverting money from one project to another and fooling the customers, how some having black money are buying BENAMI properties.
