Her good friend Joe has not only danced around apologizing to Anita Hill, either fails to comprehend his culpability or is playing stupid. Either who gives a crap about how nice he is when he cannot come to terms with his role in leaving Anita to the wolves?
How is what she is doing now, any better than what the friends and loved ones of accused sexual harassers, assaulters, rapists and abusers do? It’s not. The underlying conduct at issue might not be as vile but the conduct in defense certainly equally problematic.
He’s (insert accolade) is theground level for abuse and people who claim to advocate for women are reinforcing the Nice guy gets a pass issue many of us know. When you force your daughters to endure men in their space you are conditioning them. Stop.
Stop defending men and their BS excuses for not doing better and start requiring more of them instead of saving face to keep access.
