The Paris City Council - with the support of both left & right - voted to name a public space in honor Rio City Councilwoman Marielle Franco. Meanwhile, the Bolsonaro movement - with links to the militia that assassinated her - blocks this for Rio itself: www1.folha.uol.com.br/cotidiano/2019…
While Paris votes in unison to honor Marielle by naming a public street or park after her, Bolsonaro followers - including Rio's Governor, a Congressman & a state rep - continue to be celebrated for destroying a sign in her honor. One of these cretins displays it on his wall: 
Rio's genuinely fascist pro-Bolsonaro governor, @wilsonwitzel, keeps talking about how urgent it is that Rio revitalize its tourist industry. Look at the above pictures of him and his fascist comrades and ask if this is a climate conducive to attracting, or repelling, tourism.
