If you aren't as salty that games lack proper captioning most times, and largely lack colorblind modes, as you are about lack of easy modes then you don't care about accessibility.

Add your own hand claps where needed.

Miss me with these intellectually dishonest diatribes.
Accessability matters, but it doesn't always start with making things easier for people.

Though loosening timings can be nice for some, there are a whole swaths of options devs could be adding NOW to help things.

Let's get rebinding controls industry standard, huh?
Let's get actual closed captioning standard in games.

Let's get QTEs as an option you can kill (bless you Spider-Man).

Easier difficulty can be a tool in the toolkit for accessibility but it should be the first IMO

We have loads we can do still besides that
Having assist modes that can be turned on individually is a fantastic idea.

The problem with just saying there should be an "easy mode" is that this means different things to different people.

And difficulty modes tended to be kind of lame little tweaks of HP, weapons drops, etc
But presenting modular options to be able to assist specific situations? That would be great!

But we aren't talking about that. Nobody is pushing that.

Let's start there. Let's look as specific disabilities and look at modular options that can address those situations
Because a game doesn't need to be "easy" to be "accessible."

And I may not be disabled physically, but folks I knew that were had one thing in common.

They hated condescension. Assuming they can't do something. Just making it "easy" for them.
Adding options that can over come certain handicaps is fantastic. And nobody will say no to that.

But can't you even hear yourself when you say you just want "easy modes" for people with disabilities?
