This joint is called Cat Daddy’s. Nothing but Black Women running things. I’ve been called every manner of Baby, Dear and Sweetie in the 8 minutes I’ve been here. I got catfish, scalloped potatoes and cabbage. Also learned that a Half and Half HERE is Kool-Aid and Lemonade. 
Brotha just walked in wearing boots and spurs like they were some AF 1’s. Nodded to the other patrons and took a seat. I might be here all afternoon.
Brotha with the spurs has been joined by another brotha with a Bluetooth earpiece the size of my fist AND a hip case for his phone. I sense they’re regulars.
Three more brothas have joined the crew and I just know some serious business is about to be discussed. I regret choosing a table on the other side of the establishment.
I don’t even think I can hang with these anymore...
My lunch came to $11.85. Gave Ms. Di a $20 and thanked her profusely.
