Gather around children. Given the defenestration of Howard Hughes from the embassy, today is story time.

Back in the dark ages, I ran a somewhat popular site called underground.org on which I collected security information.
At one point I was approached by prof, aka Assange. You see, there was this book coming out, Underground: Tales of Hacking, Madness and Obsession on the Electronic Frontier, and he wondered whether he may be able to put a page up about it on my site given the shared name.
The book is about the Australian having scene and Assange is in it.

Now, beign kind-hearted, I agreed and gave prof and account so he could set up the page.

But no sooner had I done so than I found Assange trying to escale privilege.

So I gave him the boot.
So as far as I can tell, Assange has always been a self-agrandizing acerbic asshole that bites the hand that feeds him.

And no one that knew him back then is surprised by his current predicament.
I got receipts, as the kids say.
