1/Staggering conflicts of interest by the man chasing self employed doctors off of our wards and even out of the country @MelJStride MP by presiding over the forced false employment without rights of the genuinely self employed #IR35 ...& the loan charge architect @DevonLiveNews
2/this follows the previous revelation that @MelJStride, who heads up @HMRCgovuk, was making more than his ministerial salary doing PR for high profile corporate tax avoider Amazon. Furthermore he did not declare this conflict of interest to parliament.

3/This MP's loan charge policies are reportedly driving taxpayers to suicide because they undermine the #RuleOfLaw by changing the rules retrospectively. Something which was predicted but continued regardless. Eg a rather prominent warning by @IHPA_UK

Everyone should watch this video but a word of warning, you'll get angry.

I grew up & live outside of San Francisco CA. As a child my mother took me and my sister to the city for a special Christmas shopping day every year. As a young man my friends and I would day trip into the city. As an adult I've taken my children for a fun day in San Francisco.
This past December I took @sodangfancy21 to San Francisco. But the fact is the city has changed even in the 40 years I've walked the Earth. When Kristin and I went to the city I avoided large parts of it that I used to go to as a kid. I'll take my boys, but only to a Giants game.

Today's terrorist attack in Pittsburgh is truly horrifying. My thoughts go out to the families of the victims. It's not enough to just send condolences, we have to look at the larger trend and acknowledge the biggest terror threat in America:

Hate groups and the extreme right
Experts disagree on the exact % of terror attacks that are motivated by far-right ideology, the differences explained by different methods of measuring or different time-frames, but they're unanimous in that it's over 2/3 in recent decades.
This analysis by Defense One (itself fairly far right) puts it on the low side at 71%.

As of August 2017, the Artist's Union England determines the following hourly rates for an artist to be fair; £21.04 p/hr for a new graduate artist. That's about $28 dollars for my US friends. This goes up to £27.27 p/hr for 3 yrs+ exp, and £31.47 per hour for 5 years or more. /2
If you are doing sessional/daily rates such as presentations, consultations and installations. You should be looking at £166.24 p/day (£ 83.12 p/ 1⁄2 day) for a new grad artist, £218.19 p/day (£109.10 p/ 1⁄2 day) 3 yrs+ exp, £270.14 p/day (£135.07 p/ 1⁄2 day) 5 yrs+ exp. /3
