After I took the bar exam in 2005, @ATLJono and I went to Europe, including Paris, with a visit to Notre Dame. I took a photo I always loved of flowers with the flying buttresses in the background. Such a beautiful sight, I had to come home tonight and find my pictures to share. 
The weird thing was, I had just thought about that first picture yesterday, when I ran up to the National Cathedral here in DC. I even took this picture, as I walked around the Cathedral, capturing the turret damaged in the 2011 earthquake but including the buttresses in my shot.
I don’t have anything profound to add to it. It was horrible to watch flames coming out of the top of that majestic building, but I am thankful to all who fought to get the fire under control eventually.
