Fun fact (with selfies!): Since I left the BuzzFeed newsroom on March 8, I walked or ran 270 miles+ during my break — from a run down to South Pointe Park Pier in Miami Beach to visiting the cherry blossoms in DC and Central Park in NYC to a run around this city I love today. 🤭

For context, this was my comment yesterday:
The audio from every single argument at the Supreme Court is available, and it should be made public that day. The recording is already happening, and there is no reason why the court — a public body holding public hearings — should not make that audio quickly available.

After I took the bar exam in 2005, @ATLJono and I went to Europe, including Paris, with a visit to Notre Dame. I took a photo I always loved of flowers with the flying buttresses in the background. Such a beautiful sight, I had to come home tonight and find my pictures to share.
The weird thing was, I had just thought about that first picture yesterday, when I ran up to the National Cathedral here in DC. I even took this picture, as I walked around the Cathedral, capturing the turret damaged in the 2011 earthquake but including the buttresses in my shot.
I don’t have anything profound to add to it. It was horrible to watch flames coming out of the top of that majestic building, but I am thankful to all who fought to get the fire under control eventually.

Meanwhile, I know I’ve been gone for a while, but what the HELL is going on with the president tonight?
Is this an order, a statement, a thought, or what? And, if it’s an order, what is it an order to do, actually?
I know everyone is like, “ignore him,” but he’s the president. It took almost two years, but his morning tweets that trans people would not be allowed in the military have now been put into action. His words matter. buzzfeednews.com/article/domini…
