-May 2014 Gamboru & Ngala, Nigeria: Jihadist Group Boko Haram killed more than 300

.@SenJeffMerkley (D) of Oregon was quick to condemn what happened in New Zealand & used very pointed language to name the ideology at the heart of the matter. He used the attacks there to call for action in the US. He hasn’t said a word about #SriLanka.

Historic #NotreDame spire has collapsed and the cathedral’s back roof is engulfed in flames. Earlier report said fire began at 7am, tho likely 7pm. It’s 8:30pm in Paris. Reporters say it appears out of control, violent and moving quickly toward the iconic gothic facade. Tragic.💔

2/n #Hinduism is a reduced nomenclature given to the Sanatana Dharma by British in 1830s. The word Hinduism is formed by adding suffix ISM to Hindu.

ISM is defined as a distinctive practice, system, or philosophy, typically a political ideology or an artistic movement.
3/n It must be understood that Hindu term always had geo-cultural meaning covering for people residing amid Sindhu River, Himalayas & Indu Sagar. Then in this case adding suffix ISM is nothing but mocking English Language. Eg, u can’t add Ism to Japanese and call Japaneism.

Washington DC City Council has decided to honor a black man who defaced hundreds of thousands of dollars of property in DC for decades.

Yet a white kid did the same and they just arrested him and shunned him from the city.

Law makers honoring law breakers. 🤷‍♂️
Cool Disco Dan was not a civil rights activist. He did nothing to advance a positive cause. He defaced the city for decades. His tag was everywhere.

And now he’s being honored by the law makers in our town so they can score social justice points.

What’s next?
Maybe the DC City Council will begin to honor the rioters who burned down the city in ‘68?

I challenged them on this and they compared a graffiti artist to Robin Hood and George Washington!

It’s all just social justice signaling and it’s disgusting.
