2. My advice, take your $3K (R45K) & open non-resident account in SA then open an investor account with FNB, go back home & sit behind a computer and start trading on the JSE targeting 8-10% growth before selling. Usually 8-10% cycles on JSE Top40 happen within 2 months.
3. So roughly in 1 year you can grow your money by close to R30K ($2K) on minimum. Then use the $2K to explore trading using CFDs (leverage) as you have some experience of the market, taking smaller positions keeping excess margin in your account.
4. You'd understand the genius of it today, US$ disappeared, car broken down & you've useless RTGS dollars. Instead you'd have a stash of forex in South Africa growing nicely. You'd help economy earn some forex too as you take some for consumption.
After engaging on this thread I remember what Strive Masiyiwa said, "You are an Entrepreneur, never call yourself a Hustler, there is a big difference". This thread replies helped me understand what he was putting across.
