FYI, AO.com have a super deal going: a Brother MFCJ5335 A3 inkjet printer for just £129 in their Easter deal. Normally it's around £180-200 on other sites. Just unboxed mine and it's speedy and v quiet. Ink is about £27 for a 3,000 page black cartridge on Amazon.

I am afraid I can no longer take credibly Labour voices in favour of a second referendum. Unless the forthcoming manifesto backs that position *unequivocally* (and specifies that "Remain" will be on the ballot) all the nice words in the world are just that: words. @Andrew_Adonis
This is even more true because alternatives do exist for those whose principles are out of sync with Labour. We only get one shot at stopping Brexit, and that's not going to be by backing a wishy washy fence sitting party that will betray Remainers at the last hurdle.
So for all Labour politicians who feel that Brexit is the most important issue, and that we deserve the chance to stay in the EU, lead by example. Vote with your feet. Go now, while it has maximum impact. After the local and European elections, the gesture will be pointless.

Getting fed up with the number of Labour politicians and prominent supporters popping up to say "a vote for Labour is a vote for a second referendum". As things stand, that's not true. Only a clear, unequivocal manifesto commitment will be convincing, and there's no sign of that.
(It doesn't matter what Conference voted for, or individual front bench MPs are saying. What counts is actual policy commitments. Everything else is nebulous wishful thinking.)
Contrast the LibDems for example: "We have a clear strategy and message – we are the party of remain and we’re running in the EU Elections to stop Brexit."

Our high-speed rail network is absolutely pitiful compared to our near-neighbours in Europe. But it's only when you see it in situ that you realise how far behind the UK is, courtesy of decades of under-investment by successive Governments.
It also brings into stark relief our incompetence at project managing large construction works. There's a lot of "not invented here" around HS2, as if we're trying something the world has never attempted before. But globally there's tens of thousands of miles of high-speed rail!
And finally, it shows at a glance the huge divide between London & the SE, and places further north. See how the (already pathetic-speed) yellow rail lines become grey as you travel further up England? Good to improve those rather than pouring £100 billion into HS2's black hole!

First, Passover. This is the English word for the translation of "pasha" (Aramaic) and "pesah" (Hebrew) for "he passes over." It's a reference to God passing over the Israelites when killing first-born Egyptians. (2/n)
In Late Latin, the word "pasc(h)a" was used to mean both Passover and Easter. This seems to be related to the fact that both holidays were reckoned based on the vernal equinox. (3/n)

To reverse something is to back up, change to opposite direction, take it all back, 180° turn around... If your jail sentance has been reversed, you're getting out.
Of course this subliminally implies that only 'pale skinned' folks r racist, so if they experience racism, it's "reverse racism." That concept itself is racist.

Racism is racism. Period.
Racism is ugly. Period.
End of discussion.

#FYI: I don't address Mental Health & Suicide to be inspirational. I won't fill your head with sunshine & daisies because the reality of living with mental illness & suicide, especially the aftermath of surviving an attempt or losing someone by suicide, is painful & ugly.
You can look for the silver all you want, spout off & cling to platitudes like they are the only thing holding you together but what good does it do if you are unwilling to confront the stark reality of mental illness & suicide & be 100% honest that you don't have all the answers
Am I saying it is all doom and gloom? Hell no because you have good days, bad days....you have moments that motivate you to fight harder..that motivate you to keep pushing through, that motivate you to at very least keep your heart beating, to keep breathing

Pour faire du vélo, il vous faut évidemment un vélo.
Mais si vous choisissez le vélo pour tous vos trajets quotidiens, il faudra également investir quelques dizaines d'euros dans un peu d'équipement. Après un an de #Vélotaf, voici ce que je vous conseille :
1. Un support de caméra, qui se fixe sur le casque ou le guidon. Et la caméra qui va avec, évidemment. Comptez de 50 € à 500 € accessoires inclus. Intérêt : filmer les joies mais aussi les trucs pénibles. Et avoir une preuve et des infos en cas d'accident ou de mise en danger.
2. Un kit pour réparer en cas de crevaison (jamais ouvert pour ma part, après 3000 km sur les routes d'Ile-de-France. Inch'Allah ça va continuer). Rustines, colle, 3 démonte-pneu. Quelques euros.
