From DOJ spox Kerri Kupec: In his remarks at 9:30am, AG Barr will address executive privilege (whether it was invoked), White House + DOJ interactions over the last several weeks, and the redaction process.

How is Barr feeling today? "Calm," Kupec says.
Here is what we KNOW:
- Barr will have a presser at 9:30am. DAG Rosenstein will be there, but isn't expected to speak.
- Congress will get CDs with the redacted Mueller report between 11am-12pm
- The report will be posted online *sometime* after it's delivered to the Hill

1. I found this piece and a similar piece in in WashPo to be helpful, not for the criticism of AG Barr, but for the fact that both popularize Barr’s deeply held belief in the power of the US Presidency - one he had a reputation for by as early as 1988: justsecurity.org/63635/barrs-pl…
2. My purpose is not to defend Barr, although his opinion as head of the OLC with regards to the legal basis that George HW Bush could arrest Manuel Noriega outside the US and arguably violate the UN Carter is why I included the Obama/ObL example here: patribotics.blog/2019/04/09/is-…
3. Rather, irrespective of how one views Barr, he has held the same beliefs and usedthe same tactics for close to four decades. If one’s focus is on name calling rather than understanding what many conservative lawyers believe and how Barr acts, one can’t effectively counter him.
