In a decade of covering the courts, I can’t remember:
* ever attending a DOJ press conference about an indictment or report where the documents at issue were not immediately available.
* being told documents were only available in hard copy.
Most are electronically searchable.

It’s mildly aggravating when I am forced to use my OCR software. Anything beyond than that feels like a provocation in the 21st century media ecosystem.
Don’t get me wrong:
There have been times when I’ve obtained files that were only available in hard copy form. Sometimes in state courts.
Sometimes the kind of federal court documents that you have to dig for, not the major ones the DOJ distributes.

Update: In addition to receiving the report in hard copy, the Hill is also getting CDs, and the press and public will be able to download from SCO, per BuzzFeed—though well after its contents could have informed any questions at the press conference.
