Why is it so much more common to come across:

“The thing which I FEARED the most has happened”

but we don’t as often hear,

“I got all the things which I want to most”

Let me share my understanding but first, let’s clear up what FEAR is
When you consider that scent & odor are the same thing (SMELLS);

just as risk & chance are the same thing (PROBABILITIES of events)

but one term is used positively but the other, negatively

I mean, if that HR lady was told “you have an odor”, I would’ve understood her angst 🤣
Same way, FAITH & FEAR are exactly the same thing: BELIEF. One is used in the positive and the other, negative.

So the laws that apply to a belief system will equally apply to faith and fear.

They are 2 sides of the same coin & as you can’t separate heads from tails, so this
So then, why is it that things we fear seem to show up much faster than things we have faith in? Why does it seem that a negative belief system is more powerful than a positive.

Well, I don’t think it is.

I think it has to do with the manner in which we make requests🤔
So, what I mean by “requests” is simple.

Religious people sometimes make requests consciously via prayer and the not-so-religious may make conscious requests via wishes.

But after we make our conscious requests, what next? What about the subconscious requests???
Requests are most often in 2 steps:
1. You ask
2. You think

But for bible scholars, we know that we can get “more than we can ask or think”.

Most assume this means if you ask for or think about 10, you can get 100. True, but it also means something else:
“You can get more than you ask or think” can also mean “to get more, do more than asking and thinking”

Brings me to other ways of making requests:
3. IMAGINATION
4. ACTIVE belief (not passive). Actionable belief that changes your emotions (that’s the test to know)
What’s the difference between “think” and “imagine”?

Look at it this way: think is a square and imagine is a cube - one is 2D and the other is 3D

An imagination is a properly fleshed our thought.

For example:
“I think it will rain” is a thought. But if you imagine rain falling, you’ll imagine all the consequences, & it will change your action so you may carry an umbrella, change your white trousers, change your suede shoes, leave earlier to avoid traffic etc..imagination drives action
And depending on whether or not you like rain, your imagination of rain falling, will also change your mood (emotions) positively or negatively. Remember, rain isn’t falling yet but your emotions have changed.

The effect of the rain, is already real before it happens
Once you imagine, the evidence of your imagination is your emotions changing.

That change in your emotion is what the uninverse responds FASTEST to. Not what you ask or think, but what you imagine that you allow change your emotions.
So when you ask...it’s good but bleh.

When you think, better, but still...bleh.

When you imagine...the action starts & when your emotions change, the work is complete.

Holding that emotional state is what creates the pathway that the universe will channel the request to you
Christians will summarize all this aptly in “faith without works is dead”. I’m just fleshing it out

Also, Christians know that “speak to this issue (ask), move (think) from here to there (imagine), do not doubt (emotions) but believe (act on it)..then everything is possible
So why do the negative thought happen so much faster?

Very simple I think.

Positive requests start from ASKing and will often end in THINKing...bleh

Negative requests are never “asked”!! Hardly “thought”...they often start from imagination and jump quickly to emotions
Look at Job in the Bible:

He didn’t ask for things he feared but see what he did:
1. He “thought” his kids sinned
2. He “imagined” their sin (curse God)
3. He acted on his imagination (sacrifices for them)
4. He held the emotions (sacrificed continually)

The universe responded
Imagine it takes 10days from asking to receiving and 8 days from thinking to receiving and 3days from imagining and 1 day from when your emotions turn to actions.

Positive requests often start from “asking” -10days

Negative things often start as imaginations - 3 days
Also, we’re s to act faster and hold the activity on negativity.

You don’t ask to be robbed so it starts from: THINK or IMAGINE being robbed in traffic, you immediately ACT by hide it and start to think of “if I lose this, thank God for saving/next salary/the one under my bed”
But if you’re sick & ASK for health, then THINK about being well (thinking about “not being sick” is the same as thinking about being sick),do you imagine in detail the things you’ll do when well? Does it affect your emotion so that you smile & perhaps laugh? Do you act on it?
So, in summary:
We leapfrog negativity up the chain of effectiveness that the Universe responds to while we take positivity through the entire gamut of a long & tiring process

Somehow, we subconsciously give negativity VIP passes but ask positivity to join the long queue
So, this is why I think we get negativity fed back to us much faster.

We are scared to act on our positive desires, we say we will look “stupid” singing and dancing with so much wahala but we call is “wisdom” acting on the negative
Last, see Hannah:
Asked for a child, nothing.
Thought about it, nothing.

Then she fleshed our her thoughts & imagined a child, imagined the sex of the child, imagined the occupation of the child, then acted (the promise).

TEST: Her emotions changed...!

We know the rest
