The Big Omission.

To recall those rejected peace offers would be to acknowledge that Palestinians are "more than just victims" — a fact @nytimes public editor Margaret Sullivan felt the need to remind reporters of, but which those reporters remain loathe to admit.
Indeed. The reason for the Big Omission is that without it, it's so much more difficult to promote the simplistic, false narrative that Israel has all responsibility, and Palestinians none, for the continuation of the conflict.
Mustafa Barghouti makes the Big Omission thread. His acceptance speech should say, "Wow! Thank you sooo much! I never could have done it without my enablers in the Western media, who somehow can't bring themselves to mention the times we rejected a state."
