jokes aside, why would someone be "stunned" that someone else doesnt believe something, especially something they cant confirm with their own empirical senses? why would that surprise anyone? the lamest worldview
"you need an advanced degree to understand the evidence for this. can you believe there are people without advanced degrees that dont have 100% faith in this evidence that they cant understand?"

uh... yeah. of course. why would that not exist...?

the most telling thing is that hypothetically if u said this picture was fake it would absolutely enrage these people, even though theres literally 0 chance your lack of belief could ever impact their life in any way. it would gnaw away at them, they cant believe u would doubt it

not even saying im for or against this, just publicly calling that its now only a matter of time before someone whos totally unequipped to handle it takes way too many mushrooms in a dumb situation + kills someone or does something wild that will make the news. probably 4 months
i dont necessarily think the government should be locking people in a cell for trying to get shrooms, that seems kind of extreme, maybe, but imo the illegality has kind of functioned like a seal where only people that have a connection can use them, not just any random person
i also obviously dont think psychedelics make people kill people or anything stupid like that, but taking way too much of a psychedelic is completely unlike taking way too much of any other substance. a guy i know took too much acid and broke into a random house and trashed it

despite quotas being technically illegal, NYC is discussing cutting funding from institutions that are failing to "diversify" at the proper rate. when i worked in NYC people that did hiring at startups and large organizations openly discussed intentionally not hiring white people
a friends CEO posted online "we have too many white people". a friend staffed an event where the theme was that his field was "too white". woman that did hiring at a pretty big company told me they didnt need "another white guy with short brown hair". this will all become normal
getting to speak with these people candidly while they thought i was one of them was fascinating. for example this woman that told me they didnt need another white guy with short brown hair (doesnt describe me) was like, "you know? it just looks bad" as though id obviously agree

First and let's just get this out of the way, I'm against the City expanding North of 8 Mile Road and I will admit a large part of that is agricultural sentimentality. But there are other reasons I think reserving this land for a "transformative project" is dangerous.
Second. The area really isn't suited for the type of industrial development ala Tesla that would meet the major jobs generator criteria. The infrastructure for goods movement is much stronger in other parts of the City/County where freeway, freight, port, air access are better.

On 04/22/2016 George Papadopoulos was exchanging emails with his Russian Foreign Ministry connect about setting up a meeting between the Trump campaign and a Russian ambassador. They move fast! By 04/27/2016, Trump, Sessions, and Kushner had met with Kislyak.
