Here are the differences between the original agreement on the building & its features & what was eventually built

pic 1: front elevation

The only revision permit that has been made available to us is for the bay windows marked in yellow which were granted in Jan 94

Pic 2: left elevation

A chimney was put in place for the later added fireplace in the loft

Pic 3: rear elevation

Another chimney was added for a fireplace not in the original plans

Here are some interior changes that were not in the initial plans and would have required separate revision permits

Pic 1: a fireplace was added to the upstairs loft, this would have required a revision & a fire safety inspection

Pic 2: the original plan had m/f toilets inside,these were taken out of the original design & replaced with a fireplace,each end of the waiting area then had a cubicle added,these are probably where the toilets were relocated this would all need revisions & fire safety inspection

Pic 3: a kitchen was not in the original permit, it was added later and would require revisions to the plumbing and electrics And most probably would require a fire safety inspection/health and safety inspection

This photo was taken in dec 93,it shows the train station under construction,marked in red is the bay window already being built one month before permits were granted (granted in jan 94) this backs up @harrisonfunk’s story that in 94 something may have been added before a permit

This is just what I can see at a quick glance, there will be more!
Each of these would have needed a revised permit,

All of this ties in with what @harrisonfunk has said, that MJ May not have had a permit for a particular part of the building in 94 so did not want photos taken
