I was disappointed that this otherwise great guide to shutting down a startup included so little about doing right by users. Some thoughts... 1/ quip.com/neqwADmIn1bM
Users deserve data portability: if you’re shutting down your startup, warn and help users to export data or migrate to a competitor. Don’t lock them in a burning building. 2/
Refund users. I’ve seen dying startups charge users for months of fees on services they’ll never provide, or keep deposits on hardware users were supposed to be able to return. 3/

Every other app is too engagement-greedy and single-purpose to let you link out everywhere or post all content types. NewHive was a bit too much MS Paint but on the right track techcrunch.com/2013/01/17/new…
Whatever happens, don't sell Tumblr to Pornhub owner Mindgeek, which is known for exploiting porn performers by letting its streaming sites pirate videos made by its own studios, cutting out the actors from royalties

8 Mart geçti, şimdi biraz Feministler ve Sol ilişkisini saldırıya dayanışma, direnç ve neşeyle cevap veren #FeministGeceYürüyüşü bağlamında tartışalım. Birçok solcu kadın ve/ya feminist arkadaş yürüyen teorik tartışmalara cevabın bu yürüyüşle verileceğini düşünüyordu.
Direnmek ve mağduriyet direnen ve mağdur olan özneye teorik haklılık sağlamaz, yine de yürüyüşe bakalım. Google görsellerde yürüyüşe dair çıkan ilk birkaç yüz görseli taradım ve gördüğüm 100 kadar sloganı (tekrarları atlayarak) bir kenara yazdım.
İlk gözlemler: Geçen senenin bolca cinsellik içerilen sloganlarına getirilen eleştiriler zımni olarak bu yılı etkilemiş, neredeyse "müstehcen" söylemlerden tamamen ari bir yürüyüş olmuş. Çoğu slogan Türkçe, bir iki Kürtçe, bir iki Lazca ve Hemşinci, 1 İngilizce döviz gördüm.
