When dad was stationed at El Toro and we moved to Mission Viejo, it wasn’t even really there. It was orange groves, a few road cuts and model homes. We were in a Holiday Inn for more than a month at USMC expense bc the house wasn’t finished. The yard was sand and some ice plant.
My mother’s parents had a house in Hastings on Hudson. We moved there for about 18 months while my 2nd sister was on the way, and dad was in Vietnam flying troops places. Some of you have read my threads about what happened there. Not in the mood today.
