My tire went flat and we took it to the dealership and they said we need a new one because there is a nail in it and it’s going to cost us a lot of hundreds that we can’t afford. Is that true? Should I take it somewhere else to just get it fixed? I know nothing about cars.
Ok so I’m gonna take it around and see what I can do will let y’all know what happens.

If X-Men are cops too then that means Deadpool is like Joey Gibson, a belligerent drunk who wants to be a cop but they won’t let him because of his extensive criminal record.
I mean pikachu put detective in his name so like we don’t gotta guess on that one and sonic is for sure a cop. A Democrat. But a cop.

Yesterday I tried to explain that DSA is very white and that we will become even whiter with the Bernie endorsement and how that doesn’t help us become diverse which is very important in the south. I simply believe National should dedicate resources to this problem.
We have to recognize that a revolution powered by white people is not actually radical. If this organization is for white people maybe I’m just in the wrong place.
I want there to be as many DSA members as possible, but if we are going to continue to be mostly white then I want us to dedicate as many resources to mitigating the harm that causes as we are to presidential politics.

Okay so I’m leaving this website for a while but want to share some thoughts after talking to my comrades who approached in good faith.
1. I am sorry for the Warren comment. I said that out of anger for many Bernie supporters and just my notion that white saviors are harmful.
2. Y’all are right that Bernie being in office won’t change everything and probably can’t get a lot of things done politically but that having a socialist in office is good for the movement. Just as trump was good for advancing fascism through more than policy.
3. I never meant to imply that I think it is bad for there to be an influx of Bernie supporters or anyone for that matter. I want DSA to have tons of people. I simply want to talk about the glaring whiteness of our organization.

Borders. We have TSPs for imports to the UK via roro ports– with traders needing to sign up. Minimum formalities at the border with supplementary declarations later. In practice no one knows how exactly will this work and whether it will actually help to speed things up /2
We have the French #customs system which relies on their IT working as well as traders pre-lodging customs declarations. Not been tested and again, not sure if it will work. Or even at which point VAT and other duties become due (guarantees ? etc). /3

1) We read a lot in the national media about overheated, high-priced real estate markets. But most Americans don't live in these markets. A lot of them live in places with the opposite problem - property values that are too low.
2) The median sales price of a house in the City of Akron is $64,000. Many houses sell for $40,000 or less. And these prices are actually high compared to Cleveland, Detroit, Flint, or Youngstown.

I know we all hate government waste but sometimes things that seem dumb and cost a ton of money still need to be done and cost that much. This Air Force One refrigerator story is a pretty good example. I'll explain:
Here are a bunch of flat facts:
1. POTUS requires an ultra secure plane that can serve as a mobile command center for the United States for an extended period of time.
2. In order for this plane to do that, it needs to be able to carry a lot of food.
3. Every component on an aircraft, especially this aircraft, needs to be FAA certified to be installed on one, which involves stress tests and such.
4. Due to the unique requirements of Air Force One, you need a custom-made system to carry that amount of food.
