Also, WRs aside. my close friends are MUCH better than me at all games. It's weird having co-workers, fb/twitter follows, telling me I'm good at games. I've NEVER actually felt that way mostly because of the individuals I surround myself with 1/x
I was never the best at the music games I played, I wasn't even the best DDR player at my own arcade. Even though I own a cab now, I'm certain @Dawgbowl @Real_Flashfire and many others would destroy me, and they would undoubtedly admit how out of practice they are. 2/x
@LockerRoomSac @Real_Flashfire are probably >95% win rate in literally any fighting game against me, even if I have vewlix cabs and fight sticks. @oobaazea doesn't even count because her ability on IIDX and popn are further ahead than I can even comprehend, let alone attain.
@rhinocoin_ @SaporonMtg @Bozzles @babyberluce have far more accolades in MtG (and at this point, more than likely always will). @ninjembro is better than me at literally almost everything, and has plenty more chops at speedrunning than me not close!
@Zylos_the_CORE has insane TGM skills, @Dawgbowl plays so many types of games incredibly well. @topher123890 played better poker than me, and now is reaching really high levels in WoW. Even Jesse fixes all these cabs with much better skill than me!
What I'm trying to say is, don't compare yourself to others. I know my WRs are "neat" but they'll go away. But even if I'm just a 6-of-all-trades compared to my friends, I'm having so much fun. Others find what you're doing impressive, even if you don't. You're great!
also tags on @BiosageX @metrosage @Sparkle_Possum @Anneliese_F @UrbanPopeMtg @_dadinfinitum @ninevoltbattery who are really awesome people and great at what they do too, I'm not as super close with them, but definitely admire everything they be doing in their discipline.
And @GiggleFits28 is obviously the best wife/dog mom/reads a million books/funniest castlevania player/partner in crime and she'll probably never read it.
