Like Cheney, Bolton wants to promote skewed intel to have influence. That means avoiding or at least downplaying analysis that comes from biased sources. I know the foibles of US intel but special interest disinformation is not intel, it is psyops. thedailybeast.com/trump-administ…
Think tanks funded by special interest groups, anti terror "intel" agencies (many of them Israeli) and private networks like Erik Prince constantly try to skew policy against Iran to the benefit of Sunni dictatorships. Money skews logic and America ends up making bad decisions.
These influences are why we didn't catch bin Laden at least in 8 scrubbed missions times before 9/11, why we created Jihadi groups in the tribal areas, why we invaded Afghanistan instead of Pakistan and why Iraq was such a needless mess which led to ISIS.

Here is some footage of the waterline damage to the rear ballast tank (water)of Norwegian tanker Andre Victoria off #Fujairah. Not how you would sink a tanker. I am thinking Captain Nemo needs to be brought in to consult on this sloppy work.
Sky news is also showing damage (?) of twenty year old Aframax tanker Al Marzoqah. Have to wonder why the two non-Arab ships have minor dings and the Arab ships look fine.

The Marine assault vessel Kearsarge seems like a odd choice of ship to push forward towards Iran since it is such a tempting target. It has the latest state-of-the-art command and control systems for flagship command duty, a rescue platform for downed pilots and a hospital ship
