We worked with local organizations, employers, and colleges to give them opportunities at a second chance.

So many times, even when judges wanted to divert young man to our program, mandatory minimums prevented them. First time youthful offenders, sent away for 10 yrs...

I watched families torn apart, marriages dissolved, children become fatherless, and communities ravaged because Biden, and people like him, failed to see the same humanity in young Black men that they saw in young white men who made the same mistakes in life...

So, I don’t come to this discussion about the CB based on hearsay or studying history, I was there. I’ve been to the jails, advocated in the courts, counseled the families, and buried those who overdosed, when Biden & his cronies didn’t see it as a “public health crisis”...

It’s insulting when white people tell me how long ago it happened and how changed @JoeBiden is, even though he’s still defending the CB in spite of it’s proven results.

It’s even more hurtful when Black people ignore their own pain & devastation to defend the indefensible.
