So most UK people may not pay that much attention to my research on think tanks like the IEA/ASI/TPA shadowy funders and their links to the Leave teams and the Tories, but it looks like their staff is quite obsessed about it -for whatever reason.
So if you feel like it (&can), don't hesitate putting them out of their misery by buying me a coffee (not to really go to Iceland, just to have more time for research, I really don't have much available lately and I'm working on a very handy tool that I wish I could finish).
(I note that Conservative political communications & social media consultants/Cambridge Analytica cheerleader Thea seems to have enjoyed this out of nowhere trolling. Really makes me wonder how many politicians are part of the various whatsapp/email lists Ryan Bourne mentioned?)

As much as I understand this point, the problem is that the ballot box falls for the lies (also as they're not systematically being exposed for what they are, but relayed unchallenged.)
To the least it will bring the question "How can politicians be hold to account?" in the news.
But tbh I expect basically the same conclusion than Mueller's.
"It's not in our hands, only politicians can hold politicians accountable".
(I tend to think that quite a few politicians will not do anything to make sure they are hold accountable without truth-based, impartial media exposure generating public pressure.)

So, I’m going to follow up on this with some of the peer reviewed evidence based research that Glinner apparently hasn’t seen.

You know, just to have it out there.
1. Cornell University did a systematic review of available literature 1991-2017 (59 studies), looking at the effect of transition on wellbeing.

These are their major findings.

Just to note - NONE of the studies they reviewed concluded that transition causes overall harm btw.

“It’s just a report”: A coalition of business groups urging Congress to approve the USMCA tells me that people shouldn’t pay too much attention to the coming official estimate of how the deal will affect the US economy: thestar.com/content/thesta…
The ITC report expected later this month is widely expected to say that the USMCA will have a very small positive impact at best, a negative impact at worst. The Pass USMCA Coalition says “the benefits of the deal are crystal clear regardless of what the report shows.”
Experts agree with pro-USMCA business groups that the coming analysis might have trouble quantifying some legit benefits of the new deal. Regardless, a negative or neutral conclusion could make it even harder to get Democratic votes.
