Mueller has now made crystal clear that the response to his report lies with Congress, and that response is an impeachment inquiry. So what now? The House should set a timetable--a month of intensive hearings by Intelligence, Judiciary, Homeland Security panels to lay groundwork.
At the same time, House Democrats should use the floor to highlight, using stark visuals, the elements of the Mueller Report that point to collusion and obstruction. Let the public know why an impeachment inquiry is the path forward.
The visuals should not just be quotes from the Mueller Report. It should include elements from the letter signed by nearly 1,000 former prosecutors and excerpts from pieces written by @benjaminwittes and others.
A good professional media operation should take highlights from all these streams and do five-minute and thirty minute videos for You Tube. Laying out the groundwork before a formal impeachment inquiry is still in order, but on a much faster timetable.
