The Articles of Impeachment against Rosenstein have been filed in a parliamentary "end run" around leadership and do not have the support of @SpeakerRyan or @TGowdySC.
No vote is expected anytime soon and it is highly unlikely the House would approve them anyways. 2/5

Since the Articles of Impeachment are almost certain to fail, it is likely they are being filed to give Trump a PRETEXT to fire Rosenstein.

Per @RVAwonk, the House Freedom Caucus filed articles of impeachment based on events that occurred before Rosenstein was even sworn in.
