This is beyond dumb. This will wreak havoc on countless industries, increase costs for Americans, and achieve absolutely nothing related to illegal immigration.

Also, USMCA was set to be one of Trump's biggest achievements in his first term. This completely undermines that agreement.
These are taxes on American consumers. I don't like it when Democrats raise my taxes, and I certainly won't cheer to see a Republican POTUS doing it. Further, it's ridiculous for politicians to hold American consumers hostage to try to achieve unrelated policy goals.
